米Googleは2006年6月5日、米ウォルトディズニーワールドリゾートをGoogle Earth上で3D再現したことを明らかにした。Google Earth最新版（4.3）をダウンロードして起動、Disney Worldと検索するとアクセスできる。
Google Earth上で1,500以上の3Dモデリングにより完全にオンラインで再現しており、マジック・キングダム（Magic Kingdom）やエプコット（Epcot）、アニマル・キングダム、ハリウッドスタジオのほか22のホテルやリゾートのバーチャル旅行を楽しむことができる。マップ上の施設をクリックするとアトラクションの説明やメニュー、イベントカレンダーを参照したり、ホテルの予約が可能。
Google Earthでの3D再現計画は5月中旬に明らかにされており、今後、ユーロディズニーもGoogle Earthで3D再現する予定。
