私はイギリスの文化や社会について全く無知ですので、このキーワードからどうこう言うことはできません。そこで、この MSN.co.uk の年間キーワードトップ100 を分析している"Roses Counties are Top of the Searches" (Scotsman.com) を参考にみてみましょう。
この記事によると、（MSN.co.uk にて当該リストを見つけられなかったのですが）MSN Search Trends Barometer によると Blackpool（ブラックプール：地名） が最も多くのユーザーが検索サービスを利用していた場所なのだそうです。２番目が Bradford （ブラッドフォード）。３位が Edinburgh 、London はトップ１０に入らなかったそうです。
次に検索キーワードトップ100。3位はあの Harry Potter （ハリー・ポッター）ですね。米国では２位でした。8位の Atkins diet は米Yahoo! のダイエット部門では１位のキーワードでしたね。イギリスでは総合で８位に入っているのでやはり人気のよう。
１４位のDavid Beckham （デービッド・ベッカム）はイギリスの有名人トップ１０ 2003（MSN.co.uk - Top 10 Celebrities）では２位です。
そんなところでしょうか。あとはイギリス在住の人じゃないと意味不明なものが多いのでやめます。なお、イギリスのMSNサーチは毎日1,580万人のユーザーが利用しているそうです。
