デスクトップから直接ぐぐることができる Google Deskbar ですが、3月16日にバージョンアップされました。最新バージョンは 0.5.81 beta です。
改良点・変更点は以下の通り。細かい修正と使い勝手の向上ですね。

- Windows key + G to run auto-search
- Right-clicking links in the mini-viewer allows new windows to be opened

現在 Google Deskbar を利用している人は、Google Labs からダウンロードした上でファイルを実行すれば、アップデートしてくれます。Google Deskbar にはツールバーのような自動アップデート機能はついていませんので、アップデートはご自分で。アップデート後は Windows の再起動も必要です。
