ソーシャル検索のOneRiotが、Firefox用拡張機能「PulseChecker」をリリースした。Firefoxで利用できる。
OneRiotはソーシャル検索エンジンで、Yahoo!やGoogleのようなリンクの人気度によってウェブページをランク付けするのではなく、ネットコミュニティ内での注目度や人気度の高さに基づいて決定する。判断するためのデータは任意にインストールするOneRiotツールバーを収集して、ユーザが閲覧中のウェブページ情報を収集する。検索インフラはSearch BOSSを利用している。
「PulseChecker」はFirefox add-onsで動作するもので、閲覧中のウェブページのコミュニティ内での人気度をEmerging, Surging, Ragingの3段階で表示する。
